Pastel Chic

Today was a dress up day! Finally after all those hikes! We decided to try Papparich this Singaporean/Malaysian Cusine restaurant in Monterary Park.

I felt like the obvious choice should've been curry laksa (FAVE OF FAVES) but because I have had pretty good packaged Laksa (Prima taste laksa) I decided to try their Dry Kuay Teow with Steamed Chicken. Turns out anything you order there is delicious. But I'll have a review up tomorrow since I scarfed everything down from hunger and didn't get enough time to take pictures of everything.
Oh yea guys and they also have MILOOOOOOOO. Omg this restaurant had us talking about our childhood memories.
Ohh yea and me and my sisters style are completely opposites, always fun to take a picture together.

After our GIANT GIANT MEAL. We went to Melrose because MELROSE. & to hit up some of our fave stores.
Obviously Joyrich, with all their cute outfits and adorable store front. Most of their things at 50% OFF right now (excluding their new collection: Disney/ Pixar/ Toy Story), so go go GOOOOO get something. Their designs are adorable and fun without sacrificing quality, that's what I like most about them.

Took some #OOTD pics
My sister has this magical power of making my outfit look a lot nicer than when I saw it in the mirror getting dress. Amazeballlls.
Don't forget the mandatory mirror selfie.

Courtney Love x Nasty Gal

So like everybody else, I fell in love with the Nasty Gal x Courtney Love collection. It's so much Rebel in Lace kinda vibe. LOVEEEE omg.

Tried on the baby blue dress with a hint of Alice in Wonderland vibe, but the shoulders didn't fit well and tight and loose in all the wrong places for my body type. So I just let it go.

But it's so beautiful... ugh. Maybe when I start to work on my body I can eventually wear nice things like these...

My dog got bored of me trying to decide.

Sunny Blue & Three Twins

Out for a hike yesterday at Will Rogers State Park.

Got super hungry afterwards so I went straight to one of my faves: Sunny Blue!
They make super tasty rice balls (AKA Onigiri or Musubi), fresh, right on the spot. They also offer other Japanese appetizers, specialties (Kitsune Udon is YUMMS), and snacks (chips/drinks). So its the best place to go for a quick small meal.
My favorite flavor is Miso Mushroom. Oh and make sure to say you'll eat it "Under 20 mins" because the seaweed wrap they give you is different depending on when you're going to eat it. The picture below is my preference Salted Seaweed, it adds just the right amount of flavor to the rice to make it not taste so bland. And you can just see the crispiness of it. UGH HEAVEN.
Food quality: Taste is amazing. The ratio of rice to seasoning and seaweed flavor is just perfect. [8/10]
Presentation (of food): In little cardboard tray, paper bag and individual plastic wrap for each rice ball if you request togo. [7/10]
Service: Great, friendly, depends on the speed of the customer ordering & there is only one counter, but quick to make the food, never takes longer than 6-10 minutes for my order of 2 miso mushroom & 1 kitsune udon, even if there is 1 or 2 people who ordered ahead of me. [8/10]
Location: 2728 Main St., Santa Monica. It's on a buzzing street between Santa Monica beach and Venice beach areas. Always fun to take some time to walk around the area. Hipster and cool. Closest parking is street parking, if not then there is a parking area behind the shop, but it's Pay for time kind of parking $0.50 for 30 mins. There's another in Culver City, but I could talk about that one another day (mainly the same). [8/10]
Ambiance: Cute & simple. Only 4 seating areas. Small but functional for it's "togo" concept. [7/10]

Price: $3.15 and UP per omusubi. Others vary.
Would you come back? YES, because I love their variety and flavor and ambiance.

Next stop is Three Twins

As you can see in the picture way at the top, Three Twins is right next to Sunny Blue and together they make an amazing combo. Makes it even more worth it to stop by the area.

This is my favorite flavor here: Cookies & Cream.

I currently love ice cream too much to know how to rate it but when I figure it out I shall let you know.

I was never very obsessed with Cosplay, but this is just FUN! Love live is a currently popular anime about a girl and her group of friends who decide to perform to save their school from closing down. It's pretty cute, if you have some time go watch it at Crunchy Roll or Hulu.

Here are some of our pictures

Introducing our group PixieeStixx! We do kpop dance covers in Love Live Cosplay! This is our very first one with all of us, so please be gentle. Gee by Girls' Generation <3

Macaron HUNT!

hiiiiiii,

Lizcel Tangonan look her up. Anyways she's bae. She texts me at the ungodly hour of 10:45AM to asks if I'd like breakfast... As if I'm even awake at that time? So today, I was & was like LET'S GOOOO GIRLLL.

Got breakfast The OP Cafe, wasn't so hungry so I just ordered the Granola with Strawberries & Yogurt. She got Machaka!

NEXT: Sped to Irvine to get a MACARONS! Macaroons? Macaron? I still don't know.

Honey & Butter, one of my fave places for their great design and creativity. I've been wanting to take bae there FOREVER but you know, schedules and other life commitments got in the way.

But here we are finally! Unfortunately we arrived too late (2PM, just 2 hours after they open) to get their character macarons (today was Under the Sea themed) but their regular ones are just as delicious. These are their cute boxes, and lookit their store! AND ALL THE TSUMS! O.O it's a dream to work at a place like this.

My favorite flavors: French toast, Milk & Honey, Cookie butter, Enchanted Berries, Passion Fruit
Lizzy T. faves: French toast, Milk & Honey, Cookie butter

Food quality: Clean, in individual packages, shell is smooth & even [9/10]
Presentation (of food): In clear packages, paper box is cute, good for price [8/10]
Service: Great, friendly, a little slow just because it always depends on the speed of the customer ordering & there is only one counter. [7/10]
Location: The Lab, 2930 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa. It's in a trailer in a small plaza, cute, hipster, suitable to it's brand. Parking gets pretty full when it's busy. [7/10]
Ambiance: Cutesy but a little small [7/10]

Price: $2/Regular; $2.50/Character
Would you come back? YES, because new themes are introduced weekly, generating interest to follow up & buzz

DON'T FORGET: Get to this place super early if there is a theme you like, like literally maybe an hour early, 11AM. Because it sells out FAST & LINES ARE LONG. but worth it <3
